Support the Parish Library

The parish library is a ministry of our church, created to help people grow in faith, understanding, and love for Christ — whether they are just beginning to explore Christianity and the Catholic faith or seeking to go deeper in their spiritual life. Whether through prayer, time, or resources, we’re deeply grateful for everyone who helps this library serve our parish and community.

There are three main ways you can support the library: by using our wishlist, donating books, or suggesting new titles.

Our Wishlist

These selections help us:

Update older areas of the collection
Strengthen topics where we currently don’t have enough titles
Add newly released or highly recommended Catholic and Christian books
Expand resources for seekers, OCIA/RCIA participants, and those growing in faith

Books purchased from the wishlist can be shipped directly to the church (make sure you choose our address at checkout). This makes it easy for you to support the library even from home. Every gift — large or small — helps us place meaningful, faith-filled books into the hands of people who are searching, learning, and growing.

Suggest a Title for the Library

Do you have a book you love? Or one you wish you had access to through the parish library?

We welcome title suggestions from parishioners and visitors! Your recommendations help us understand what people are seeking and what would best support their faith journeys.

If a suggested title fits our collection goals, we’ll add it to the library — often by placing it on our wishlist so others can help make it available. Suggest a title here.

Donating Books to the Library

We are very grateful for the generosity of those who want to donate books to the parish library. Because our space and catalog are limited, we follow a few simple guidelines to make sure donations truly serve the needs of our readers.

We gladly consider donations that are:

In good, clean condition (no mold, water damage, heavy marking, or broken bindings)
Faith-centered and aligned with Catholic teaching
Helpful for spiritual growth, prayer, theology, Christian living, or faith formation
Relatively current, or timeless classics of Christian spirituality

We are not able to accept:

Damaged, incomplete, or heavily marked books
Materials that contradict Catholic teaching
Large quantities without prior coordination
Outdated textbooks, encyclopedias, or devotional material no longer in use

All donated books are reviewed before being added to the collection. While we can’t guarantee every donated item will be placed on the shelves, please know that your generosity is truly appreciated and never taken for granted.
